ABOUT Dave Krikorian...
After graduating from the University of Illinois - Champaign, I went to work as an advertising copywriter with a direct marketing agency in Minnesota. Because writing demanded an in-depth understanding of products, sales, and marketing, I broadened my career and worked my way up to marketing director with the nation's largest school supply corporation. My market unit grew from zero to $20 Million in sales in six years.
Seeing the writing on the wall in the 1990's I opted out of middle-man distribution and co-founded the school industry's first internet startup, Early Childhood Manufacturer's Direct (ECMD). I sold off my share in early 2000.
After my daughter finished school, I began working as an independent contractor and went on to pursue new challenges. In addition to having success as a contract worker, I have completed two novels and am working on a third and two screenplays.
